Refund Policy

Draft — not yet in force. This document is a working draft prepared for review. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and the highlighted values are still to be confirmed. Do not rely on it as the agreement between you and RevRaptor until this notice is removed.

RevRaptor sells prepaid credits. This explains when you can have your money back, when you get credits back instead, and how to ask.

1. The short version

  • Credits never expire. There is no deadline for using them.
  • Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
  • Credits you have already spent on a Hunt are not refundable in cash.
  • If a Hunt fails to generate, or comes back unusable, we put the credits back. That is not a favour -- ask and it happens.
  • Charged twice, or charged by mistake? Full refund, no argument.

2. How credits work

RevRaptor is not a subscription. You buy a pack of credits, and generating a Hunt spends one or more of them. The cost is shown before you spend anything, and your balance and full history are on the Credits page.

Credits do not expire. They roll over month after month for as long as your account is open. Nothing you buy goes stale, so there is never a reason to spend a credit just to avoid losing it.

That is also why this policy is narrow rather than generous: an unspent credit keeps its full value indefinitely, so a refund is only really about wanting the money instead.

3. The refund window

Within 14 days of a purchase you can ask for a refund of the credits from that purchase you have not spent.

  • If you have spent none of the pack, you get the whole payment back.
  • If you have spent part of it, we refund the unused portion at the price you paid per credit, and the credits are removed from your balance.
  • Refunds go back to the card that paid, through Stripe. Allow five to ten business days for it to appear.

After that window, purchased credits are yours to use rather than to return -- and since they never expire, you can take as long as you like over them.

4. What is not refundable

  • Credits already spent on a Hunt. The work was done: the signals were gathered and the copy was generated. See section 5 if the result was not usable.
  • Free-tier credits and any bonus or promotional credits. You did not pay for them, so there is nothing to return.
  • Credits granted as a goodwill re-credit.

5. When a Hunt does not work

Sometimes generation fails, times out, or returns something plainly broken -- the wrong city, a duplicate of last week, copy for a service you do not offer. When that happens the credits go back on your balance.

Open a support ticket and say which Hunt. We do not ask you to prove it and we do not cap how often you can ask, though we will look into a pattern of failures rather than just keep re-crediting.

A Hunt you simply did not like is a different thing. If the idea was sound but not for you, skip it -- that is what the skip button is for, and it teaches Rev what you do not want. We will still re-credit an occasional dud; we will not re-credit every Hunt you choose not to run.

6. Duplicate and mistaken charges

If you were charged twice for the same pack, charged after a failed checkout, or charged an amount that does not match what you bought, tell us and we refund it in full. This is not subject to the window in section 3.

7. Closing your account

Deleting your account forfeits any unused credit balance. If you want a refund as well, ask for it before you delete the account, and while you are still inside the window in section 3.

Deleting is not instant and not silent: the account is locked immediately and stays recoverable for 30 days, so a change of mind is one click on the restore link we email you, not a lost account.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under the consumer law of governing jurisdiction to be confirmed. Where that law gives you a cooling-off period or a right to a refund that is wider than what is written here, that law wins.

9. Chargebacks

Please come to us first -- we can usually sort a billing problem out the same day, and faster than a bank can. A chargeback raised without contacting us suspends the account while it is investigated, and any credits from the disputed payment are removed from the balance.

10. How to ask

Open a support ticket under Billing and include what you bought and when. Your purchase history is on the Credits page, and we can see it too, so you do not need to dig out a receipt.

We aim to answer within two business days and to issue an approved refund within five.

11. Contact

Support tickets are the fastest route. For formal notices, write to legal contact address to be confirmed or to business address to be confirmed. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.
