RevRaptor

Terms of Service

Draft — not yet in force. This document is a working draft prepared for review. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and the highlighted values are still to be confirmed. Do not rely on it as the agreement between you and RevRaptor until this notice is removed.

These terms cover your use of RevRaptor. Please read them -- they explain what the service does, what it does not promise, and what happens to your credits and your data.

1. Who these terms are with

RevRaptor ("RevRaptor", "we", "us") is operated by RevRaptor (legal entity name to be confirmed), of business address to be confirmed. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so, and "you" means that business.

You must be at least 18 to use RevRaptor.

2. What the service is

RevRaptor is a marketing assistant for local service businesses. It watches public information about your area -- local events, weather forecasts, local news and seasonal patterns -- and combines it with the profile you give us to produce marketing suggestions we call Hunts: an idea, a reason it is timely, and ready-to-edit copy for channels like email, social and search ads.

Rev is the name of the assistant. Rev is software. It produces drafts and suggestions, not professional marketing, legal, tax or business advice.

3. Your account

  • Keep the information on your account accurate, particularly your email address -- it is how we reach you.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One account per business. Do not share a login with people outside your business.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else has your credentials.

4. Credits, the free tier, and payment

RevRaptor runs on prepaid credits. Generating a Hunt spends credits; the cost per Hunt is shown before you spend anything. There is no subscription.

  • Credits do not expire. They roll over for as long as your account is open.
  • The free tier grants a small number of credits each month. Free-tier credits are a courtesy, not a purchase, and carry no cash value.
  • Credits are tied to your account. They cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Prices are shown at checkout in the currency stated there and may change for future purchases. A change never affects credits you have already bought.

Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. AI-generated output

Hunts are generated by artificial intelligence. We use third-party AI providers to process your shop profile and the local signals we have collected, and to write the copy. That matters to you in four ways:

  • Review before you publish. Generated copy can be wrong, out of date, or a poor fit for your business. Prices, offers, dates, claims and availability in a Hunt are suggestions -- check them.
  • You are responsible for what you send. Once you publish or send marketing based on a Hunt, it is your marketing. That includes complying with advertising, anti-spam and consumer-protection law where you operate -- for example getting consent before emailing or texting your customers.
  • Output is not exclusive. Similar inputs can produce similar suggestions for another business. We do not promise your copy is unique.
  • No results are promised. We do not guarantee any level of response, bookings or revenue from a Hunt.

6. Local data about your area

We poll publicly available sources for events, weather, news and seasonal information near the area you tell us you serve. That data comes from third parties. It can be incomplete, late or wrong, and a source can change or stop without notice. We pass it on as context for a suggestion, not as fact you should rely on.

7. Your content, and your customers' data

Your shop profile, the notes you write, the revenue you log, and anything you upload stay yours. You grant us the licence we need to run the service: to store that content, and to process it -- including through the third-party AI providers and infrastructure described in the Privacy Policy -- in order to generate Hunts and operate your account.

You own the output of a Hunt to the extent it can be owned, and you may use it commercially without further permission from us.

If you connect a CRM or upload a customer list, you are giving us personal information about other people. You confirm you have the right to do that and to have it processed for marketing purposes, and that you will honour any opt-outs those people give you. You remain responsible for that data; we process it on your instructions.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use RevRaptor to:

  • send unsolicited bulk messages, or market to people who have not consented where consent is required;
  • produce content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • impersonate another business, or make claims about a competitor you cannot substantiate;
  • resell, sublicense or white-label the service or its output as your own product;
  • scrape, automate against, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying prompts or models;
  • probe or interfere with the security or availability of the service;
  • share one account across separate businesses to avoid paying for credits.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep RevRaptor available, but it is provided as is, with no uptime guarantee. Maintenance, third-party outages and source-data failures happen. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what your existing credits can buy, we will tell you first.

10. Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account yourself at any time from your account page. Closing it starts a 30-day recovery window, during which we can restore the account; after that it stops being recoverable. Unused credits are forfeited when you close the account -- if you want a refund, ask for it first and within the window set out in the Refund Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used unlawfully, or where a payment is reversed. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

11. Disclaimers and limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RevRaptor is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy of generated or third-party content.

We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost bookings, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

12. Your indemnity

You will cover us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from marketing you publish using RevRaptor, from customer data you gave us that you did not have the right to give us, or from your breach of these terms.

13. Privacy

How we handle personal information -- yours and your customers' -- is set out in the Privacy Policy, including how long we keep it after an account closes.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use RevRaptor after that means you accept the new version. The date at the top of this page always shows when it last changed.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of governing jurisdiction to be confirmed, and disputes will be heard by the courts of the governing jurisdiction, to be confirmed.

16. Contact

The fastest route is a support ticket -- it reaches us with your account attached. For formal or legal notices, write to legal contact address to be confirmed or to business address to be confirmed.
